Terms and conditions:

We strongly recommend any of our potential customers to read these Terms & Conditions before purchasing any Engine reconditioning services from us. These Terms & Conditions apply to North West Engine Services and the fitting service we provide. When you submit an order you are entering into a contract with North West Engine Services and you may be bound by these Terms & Conditions herein. As a customer you must understand that by submitting an order you unconditionally agree to all of the Terms & Conditions of this agreement.

This agreement is for our Engine Reconditioning service and no other.

No alterations of these Terms & Conditions shall be valid unless confirmed in writing and signed for by the company’s manager.

We will change any part or parts we see unfit, we will change those part(s) without giving notice to preserve further complications to the engine. ( This will add additional charges.)

If you decide to cancel the service at any point you will be subject to a charge for the work carried out on your vehicle so far.

We make every effort to keep the prices of our services up to date but we reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice.

When we give a quote it is usually an estimation for supply and fitting. It does not cover any additional prices for any additional parts which we require to complete the service.

We will do our upmost best to carry out repairs by the date given but we will not accept any responsibility for any delays caused by factors outside the company’s control.

North West Engine Services does not take responsibility for any loss of items left inside the vehicle whilst work is being carried out. It is the customers responsibility to make sure that no valuable items are left within the vehicle.

North West Engine Services gives 12 months warranty (upto 12k miles) from the date of the invoice.

We may require to visually check the mileage of the vehicle if we are not happy with the mileage records. You will be responsible to get the vehicle recovered to us at your own cost for us to carry this out. If we find that the vehicle has been clocked previously then this will void your warranty.

All warranties are non transferable, the warranty is only available to the original purchaser of the unit.

We ONLY warrant the engine / parts we have supplied. We DO NOT cover any labor cost for removing / refitting an engine or gearbox.

This warranty is valid and effective only if all terms and conditions are fully complied with.

If the vehicle is to be used for towing then this must only be carried out within the manufacturers recommendations.

Any delivery charges must be paid in full before collection if the customer agrees for the vehicle to be picked or dropped off to the respective address.

14. Storage charges will be added if the customer does not come and collect their vehicle on time.


Warranty Becomes Void If:

The original invoice of fitment doesn’t state the vehicle make/model with registration number and mileage of vehicle.

The vehicle is used for racing, competitions, record attempts, hiring, lease or sale.

All New items that have been fitted to the vehicle along with the reconditioned engine will be required to show proof of purchase with registration number on the invoice – failure to do so can void the warranty.

All Euro 6 engines MUST have the DPF cleaned and tested by an approved company – Invoice + Registration must be shown. Failure to do so will VOID your warranty.
The Engine is stripped and inspected by anyone else other than ourselves.

The vehicle is not brought back to us or there original garage who fit the engine after no more than 1000 miles for a full service check (OIL + COOLANT LEVELS) and a Oil + Filter change from the last recorded mileage (date of engine swap).

If the vehicle has been driven more than 12,000 miles per year.

If your making a claim – Mileage must be shown via video message along with Registration number & chassis number.

Any customer supplying their own parts would give away any rights to claiming their warranty.

The vehicle has been contaminated by the wrong fuel or oil.

The vehicle has been in a subsequent accident.
The reconditioned engine is damaged due to any other ancillaries failing.

The vehicle has been abused in a way or damaged by wear and tear or neglect.

Heat tabs may come fitted to our standard reconditioned engines. If the heat tabs are tampered with at all or they indicate the engine was over heated then the warranty will become void.

Please keep in mind that if you decide to cancel the service at any point you will be subject to a charge for the work carried out on your vehicle so far.

Surcharge Policy

When you buy Diesel Injectors or Pumps from us we have a “surcharge” policy in place. We add this surcharge onto your purchase. When you return your old units to us we will refund you the full surcharge price on the condition they comply with our policy below.

If you do not understand this then please do not hesitate to telephone or email us for further explanation.

OLD UNIT SURCHARGE POLICY:

1. All units must be returned to us within 30 days of invoice / receipt date.

2. All units returned must be like for like and in a serviceable condition i.e unit must be complete with all parts attached and no physical damage to either injectors/pumps).

3. Failure to comply may result in the unit(s) being rejected or only part of the surcharge being refunded.

4. Pumps must be drained of fuel and placed in a plastic bag.

OUR CARRIERS NOW FINE US FOR ARRANGING COLLECTIONS THAT LEAK FUEL. WE CAN GET FINED UP TO £250 FOR LEAKING PARCELS, WHICH THE CUSTOMER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR AND THIS CHARGE WILL BE INCURRED IF NECESSARY.

PLEASE NOTE PICK-UP COLLECTIONS ARE UK MAINLAND ONLY. REMOTE UK LOCATIONS, (AS SPECIFIED BY UPS EXTENDED DELIVERY SERVICE), AND OVERSEAS CUSTOMERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR RETURNING THEIR OWN GOODS.

RETURN POLICY:

We offer a 14-day return policy for all unused and unopened products. Customers may return items for a full refund within 14 days of purchase, provided they are in their original condition and packaging. We are NOT reliable for the return postage and can refuse any items after the 14 days period. Most of our engines / gearboxes are built to order “Custom Made” for your specific vehicle. In this case we can also deny a refund, in some cases we can offer a Partial refund but this is down to management desecration.
